| 1) Where does this stuff come from? Some of it comes from professional production and post facilities in the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) area, and some of it comes from hobby and project environments. Wherever it comes from, Sounds & Visions doesn’t take anything that will disappoint. If it’s a professional facility, the equipment has to have been properly cared for and maintained. If it’s a project or home studio, we have to trust the owner to have given it proper care... We can tell. 2) How do I know I’m getting dependable equipment? If there’s anything that’s not just right about it, you’ll know about it before you buy it, then you’ll of course be able to buy it at a great discount. Otherwise, any equipment that needs to be is tested prior to sale. In the time we’ve been selling pre-owned gear we’ve had very, very few problems. If there was a problem, you would find that we are very easy to work with. We want you to come away happy and tell everyone you know about us. 3) What is your return policy? Click here to read our full return policy 4) How about packaging? Our professional shipping department will make sure that your item is packed extremely well. While we can’t guarantee that the shipping company won’t play soccer with your stuff, we pack everything as if they will. Furthermore, insurance is required on all shipments just in case the package is particularly mishandled. 5) International shipping? Definitely. But for large items that need freight as opposed to standard services, you should email us first. 6) PO Boxes? Yes but only if you choose the postal service option for shipping. Fedex and UPS do not deliver to PO boxes. 7) Why don’t you do combined shipping? We don’t want to take chances packing multiple pieces together. It’s more of a damage risk. If you have several items you’d like to purchase, call us to ask about a shipping discount. 8) What else? Nothing, I guess. |
