| We make every effort to describe our gear as truthfully and completely as possible. But we are dealing with used gear, some of it with a lot of buttons. We’ve been doing this for a while and have barely ever had any issues with the equipment we’ve sold. When you receive it, you’ll have 3 days to thoroughly check it. If there’s something that doesn’t match the description, contact us and we’ll work it out. If the item you purchased from us is in fact completely not as we described it to be, you will be refunded. We’re easy to work with. However, if a buyer claims there’s a problem and we find that there is none, we’ll charge a 20% restocking fee for the return. Also, if the item was tampered with, we won’t accept the return. If the item is to be given back to you after you returned it to us, you will have to cover the secondary shipping cost. We don’t say this to scare anyone; we’re just doing our best to avoid being scammed. And now a message from our lawyer who was trained to say the same thing in much more complicated language: Sounds and Visions Equipment Consignment LLC is a consignment sales service as defined under NY Uniform Commercial Code § 2-326 and all sales are subject to the following: Sales Agreement Provision for Sale on Approval After Trial Period: Seller or seller’s agent guarantees buyer complete satisfaction, and will allow buyer to determine whether the goods fulfill all descriptions, guaranties, and expectations of buyer; once goods are in possession of buyer, buyer shall have the risk of loss even if goods are subsequently returned. Buyer shall have a three day trial period in which to determine whether the goods are entirely satisfactory, the trial period to run at the option of seller either from the date of receipt of the goods by buyer or from a date one week after arrival of the goods at the place designated as the point to which shipment is to be made. The goods must prove entirely satisfactory to buyer, or the buyer shall securely repackage the goods in the same condition as received, and return to seller’s agent at Sounds and Visions Equipment Consignment LLC’s warehouse under suitable insurance to protect against loss or damage during shipping. Lacking to securely package and fully insure the goods will result in rejection for refund. When the goods are returned as directed above, billed to any point designated by seller, are received at that point, and on immediate examination are shown to be in same condition, seller shall immediately return to buyer all money and any notes transferred for the goods to seller by buyer. If buyer’s stated problem is not found to exist, a 20% restocking fee will be charged if return is accepted. If tampering is found, return will not be accepted. The return of the goods and the return to buyer of all notes and money transferred to seller shall cancel and void this agreement, and shall terminate any and all liability of either party to the other. Buyer has the option of requesting that returned goods, for which buyer has not been refunded, are shipped back to buyer at buyers expense.
