Genelec 1031a Active Studio Monitor Speakers Amplified
THIS PRICE WILL BE FOR (2) TWO 1031a MONITORS (w/ sequential serial #s). The reason you see 3 pictured is because a third is available. They were used as a part of a surround system and the center speaker can be purchased as well. Inquire for details about the 3rd monitor if you are interested.
A description can be found anywhere on the net if you're not entirely familiar with these. The assumption is that everyone serious about recording knows these very well. They are almost as popular as NS10s in a pro or project studio. I know that's a big statement but here in NYC, they're everywhere you go. Probably like that everywhere.
Condition: Excellent. 9 out of 10 to be safe, some might even rate them higher. Functionally excellent. Work as new. No stressed cones, no distortion... perfect. There's one blemish (if you can call it that). The amplifiers sit on rubber isolation pads... you can see these from the back. One of these pads is cracked (pictured). It is safely in place and still doing it's job isolating vibrations perfectly. It does not affect any functionality in the speaker, it is just being mentioned because there are some real obsessive people in this field and we can appreciate this disease we all share called "audio perfectionism".
