Pultec EQP-1R Tube Program Equalizer EQ EQP1 EQP1A 1A
Condition: Face is in excellent condition… not just considering it's age, but in general. The unit over all is really in good shape. Mechanically, very clean… The bottom cover was removed and left open. The tubes seem to be original but I wouldnt know how to confirm that. The transformers are all original. The top peerless transformer was puttyed in to place because it was a little loose. The power cord was replaced. As for the sound, it should not be described or someone might get upset that the description didn't do it justice. Great used unit to feel good about buying. Real Vintage Serial #479. voltage 120 ---
What's the difference between this and the EQP-1A?
The EQP-1A's highest frequency was 12kHz, and the high frequency attenuation was actually a filter that set in at 10kHz [same as the high frequency attenuation on the EQH-2] the lowest freqency on the "Hi" band was 3 kHz... the EQP-1R shared the same 12 kHz top frequency... but went down to 1 kHz on the low end of that band and also included 2 kHz and 2.5 kHz...
