Premier Vintage Maple Snare Drum 5 1/2 x 14 60's/
This has a great vintage, organic sound due to the aged maple wood and great, classic Premier build quality. Being a late 1960's/ early 1970's drum, it shows some age and the fact that it's been played rather than being a "closet gem". There are several dents in the outer ply of the wood and some very minor scratches. Overall it's in good shape for it's age. See pics for a true representation of the condition. The shell is true and the hardware is solid. Old school die cast hoops on top and bottom. Parallel strainer mechanism goes through the entire shell and is part of this snare's distinctive sound. NOTE: The 2 pics you see of the inside of the strainer system are from a different drum because the ones from this drum did not come out well. The strainer system is exactly the same and there is nothing to hide about the interior of this shell... it is in great shape.
