Gretsch 70's NOS Snare Drum Chrome Die-Cast 5 1/2 x 14
Never played 1970's Gretsch Model 4160 Snare. chrome over brass 5 1/2" x 14"... truly gorgeous sound. Tons of power and sensitivity.
This is a "new old stock" snare. It was in climate controlled storage for about 30 years. It's in beautiful condition because it's really new. All original everything, of course. Any blemishes you'll find on it are so miniscule that you wouldn't be able to find one new in a store without these types of microscopic manufacturing anomolies. The biggest problem you could have with it aesthetically is fingerprints. I think that pretty much says it all for the condition.
